The schedule includes learning inside and outside, in large groups and small groups, teacher-directed lessons as well as child-directed play.

Our program has no more than 20 students per class, and a maximum teacher student ratio of 1:10. The curriculum is more challenging and promotes kindergarten readiness. Bible stories, music, arts and crafts, and free play are offered on a daily basis.
The schedule is similar to the 3 year old class with the addition of:
- Writing the alphabet (upper and lower case letters)
- Writing numbers 1-20
- Science
- Social studies

Junior Kindergarten Program

Our young-fives class gives the child that is not quite ready for kindergarten another year to mature and develop necessary skills. The curriculum is more challenging than preschool, yet less demanding than kindergarten. This “gift of time” enables your child to begin the school experience with confidence.
The junior kindergarten program focuses on:
- Pre-reading skills (patterning, sequencing, visual perception, and phonics)

Kindergarten Program
Our kindergarten program is a highly motivating program that will prepare your child to succeed in the years to come. Each child is encouraged to reach his/her full potential through an energetic, academically strong curriculum. Every child will be reading booklets and reading books. Physical education is offered each week. Kindergarten have a maximum of 15 students per class.

Enrichment Opportunities
Want More at Christ Lutheran Preschool and Kindergarten?
Enrichment is offered Mondays through Fridays after school from 12:00-3:00pm for every student in the school. The students may enroll in any afternoon class (even on days they do not have preschool). Students will eat their lunches with the instructor between their regular class time and their chosen Enrichment session. The children will learn through crafts, interactive activities, stories, and a little bit of table work, all based on the theme for the week.
The cost is $25/session.
