Director & Lead Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten Teacher
Ruth Carlton
Ruth Carlton is the director of CLPK and is the lead teacher in our Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten classes. Ruth has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, has worked with children for the past 35 years in various positions, and has been teaching at our school for the past 25 years. She has four children and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Carlton enjoys teaching children the joys of learning and watching the sparkle in their eyes as they learn Bible stories, sing new songs, achieve their goals, and learn how to read and write. She strives to show each child in our program the love of Jesus as they learn and grow.
Lead Teacher, AM 3’s
Melissa Bremer
Melissa Bremer is the lead teacher in the AM 3’s class. Melissa has a Master’s degree in Education and worked in early childhood for over 15 years. Her two boys attended Christ Lutheran Preschool & Kindergarten. She has a strong passion for working with children and is excited to step back into the classroom to substitute after taking a five-year break while staying home with her boys. She enjoys helping foster children’s growth and development during their early childhood years.
Lead Teacher, AM 4’s
Genette Schneider
Genette Schneider is the lead teacher in the AM 4’s class. Genette has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business. She has three children, two of which graduated from Christ Lutheran programs. Genette has worked in her children’s schools and volunteered over the years working with children of all ages. Genette has also been a voluntary teacher aide for a first grade teacher and helped with summer Bible camp. She loves working with children, seeing their imagination unfold, and having fun while learning in a safe environment.
Teacher Assistant, AM 3’s
Vicki Pelletier
Vicki Pelletier is a teacher assistant in AM 3’s class. Vicki has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and worked as a social worker for six years before deciding to stay home and raise her two daughters. She has worked with children for several years through Vacation Bible School, teaching swim lessons and working as an Early Childhood Assistant at Huron Valley Schools. She enjoys interacting with and helping the children grow and develop social as well as academic skills in the classroom.
Teacher Assistant, AM 4’s
Sarah Bober
Sarah Bober is the teacher assistant in the AM 4’s class along with the enrichment program. Sarah has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Northwood University. She has two children, both of which graduated from the Christ Lutheran Preschool & Kindergarten programs. Sarah worked in her children’s schools, volunteered over the years working with children of all ages at Give Kids the World Village, and most recently taught preschool and kindergarten students. She loves working with children, seeing their growth and independence develop, all while having fun in a nurturing environment.
